Plymouth Dance Program (through Plymouth Parks and Recreation) is hosting two dance workshops on Saturday, August 23 at the Plymouth Community Center.
End of Summer Youth Dance Workshop — Activity Number: 23165-01
9:00-11:30am, Ages 7-11
Dance your heart out with this sampler of jazz, hip hop, and contemporary modern dance in a fun workshop format. Dancers will play dance games, learn fun and upbeat choreography, and create their own dances. All experience levels are welcome. Bring clean tennis shoes, jazz or ballet shoes (optional), a nut-free snack and water bottle. Activewear is required.
End of Summer Teen Dance Workshop — Activity Number: 24103-01
12:30-3:30pm, Ages 12-18
Enjoy a full afternoon of dance including a warm up, jazz technique, hip hop class, contemporary modern dance technique, and improvisation and instruction to make your own choreography. At least 2 years of dance experience recommended. Dancers may be split into groups by age and experience, depending on the number of registrants. Bring clean tennis shoes, jazz or ballet shoes, a nut-free snack and water bottle. Activewear is required.
Cost per Workshop: $45 for Plymouth residents, $50 for non-residents
