Contemporary Technique for Intermediate/Advanced Dancers

This workshop in contemporary forms is designed to build community and encourage confidence in your creative expression. Expect citations from African diasporic movement, music, and philosophy–specifically Trinidad and Tobago, Haiti, Cuba, and the Malinke signatures of West Africa. Also citations from Classical Ballet (Cecchetti style), American Modern Dance techniques (Graham and Limón mainly), Yoga, Somatics, and Postural Restoration.
