REP Track: 10:00am-12:30pm
CREATE Track: 1:00-3:30pm with optional showing at 6:00pm on Wednesday, August 20 (location to be determined)
Full Intensive: 10:00am-3:30pm with a 30 minute lunch break
REP: Start each morning of the week with an hour and a half of high-energy technique with one of our company dancers, followed by an hour of repertoire with our artistic director. Think emotive, dramatic and nuanced combos that will allow you to dig deeper into your expression and theatrical presence as a performer.
CREATE: A lab for budding and emerging choreographers who want to expand their practice and process. Ruby will work directly with each of you to define your style, voice, and learn new choreographic skills and techniques to make work that resonates and goes deep. We will also have discussions about ways to get your work out there and overcoming common barriers to generating work. By the end of the 4-day intensive, you’ll have a short solo to perform at our optional showcase that evening.
The full intensive is the most immersive experience, combining both tracks and building on the material each day and throughout the week.
Early Bird Rates (July 1-31): $350 for full intensive, $180 for 1 track.
