Presented by A Dancer’s Place Productions, Renewal invites audiences into the process of reconstructing previously lost dance works, offering a rare, up-close look at how choreography is preserved, reshaped, and passed forward.
Featuring an intergenerational cast of local performers, the program highlights selections from seldom-seen dances by visionary Minnesota choreographer Loyce Houlton—including the intimate Troth (1969) and the monumental Song of the Earth (1977). This deconstructed performance reinterprets historic works in real time through a blend of live dance, film, and dialogue.
Sunday, August 10 at 4:30pm
Cost: $30
