Workshops, Intensives, and Master Classes

Open community class using principles of Movement Fundamentals: Come join renaissance artist, dancer, photographer, and improviser, Blake Nellis, for a 60-minute online class using movement, drawing, observation, and playfulness. This is part of a monthly ongoing series hosted by Dance Artist and Luther College faculty, Jane Hawley—it’s about dreaming, releasing control of outcomes, and making space for creative possibilities!

Movement Fundamentals: New Moon Online Immersion
Wednesday, March 18, 7:00-8:00pm CST
On Zoom and open to artists of all mediums and abilities.
Why join? To move, shake, witness, and share.

Please view Blake’s Movement Fundamentals artist profile and check out his photography portfolio. Blake will guide our online immersion for 40-50 minutes and then open the immersion up for sharing and Q&A. Please have writing utensils and paper/journal available for harvest. Donations can be made directly to artist @BlakeNellis (on Venmo), with $10-$20 suggested.

Register by emailing movingdance@gmail.com to receive the Zoom link. This immersion will be recorded and shared with those who are paying to support this pilot. I will send the Zoom link the day before, Tuesday, March 17 (St. Patrick’s Day)! See you there!
