This experiential and didactic course focuses on child development and the impact of trauma spanning the prenatal experience up until adolescence. The class will incorporate developmental frameworks (Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES), Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and Polyvagal Theory) in relationship to Dance/Movement Therapy (DMT). It will also focus on skills for supporting children and clients in order to process and heal from their experiences.
