Auditions, Jobs, and Certifications

Two Harbors-based independent artist Kayla Schiltgen is hiring for one or two contracted support roles to assist with ongoing projects:

  • Administrative Assistant
  • Social Media/SEO/Website Manager

These roles may be filled by one individual or split between two, depending on the individual’s strengths and availability.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently. A background in dance/performing arts production, communications, or marketing is a plus, but not required. This is a flexible and collaborative opportunity, with responsibilities shaped around evolving project needs and the individual’s skills. Experience working in or with rural communities and Greater Minnesota is highly valued, and candidates from these regions are especially encouraged to apply.

Please note: Kayla is based in Two Harbors, Minnesota. Candidates not located in Northern Minnesota will work remotely.

Primary responsibilities may include:

  • Managing communications and scheduling
  • Supporting the rural Minnesota tour of is this magic?
  • Website updates, social media content creation, and SEO strategy
  • Researching venues, grants, and collaborators
  • Assisting with grant writing
  • Helping organize and facilitate a Give to the Max Day fundraiser in November

Compensation: $20–$30/hour, depending on experience.

Hours: Up to 60–70 total hours available through January 2026, with the potential for future collaboration on a project-by-project basis.
