Flip Lab is a growing AcroDance studio in Edina, MN, specializing in acrobatics training for youth dancers. We are a studio based on inclusivity and support and want to see every student work toward and achieve their goals. We are seeking a passionate Acrobatics Instructor to join our team!
Responsibilities:
- Teach beginner through advanced acro (depending upon your level of certification in Acrobatic Arts) such as cartwheels, walkovers, aerials, back handsprings, and back tucks
- Teach private, semi-private, small group, and larger group lessons to students ranging from 4-18 years old
- Create and implement lesson plans that cater to different skill levels, age groups, and group sizes based on Acrobatic Arts curriculum
- Manage classroom etiquette and behavior and ensure a positive learning environment
- Provide constructive feedback to students and their parents to help them improve technique and performance
Requirements:
- Hold instructor certification in the Acrobatic Arts curriculum or be willing to obtain training and certification.
- Have a strong background in dance, gymnastics, and/or cheerleading
- Have experience teaching group classes and students ages 4-18
- Have strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
Compensation: Hourly pay of $20-$40 based on experience.
Expected Hours: 10-30 hours/week depending on your schedule as well as student demand and studio growth; flexible scheduling.
