Heart of Dance is currently accepting Fall 2022 Teaching Artists applications for Dancing Classrooms and Dance for Life residencies in the Twin Cities and Rochester areas. To learn more about our programs with youth and senior adults, please visit our website: www.heartofdancemn.org
Ideal Teaching Artists are those who:
- Have experience working with children and adults
- Possess a good sense of humor, rhythm, and ample patience
- Can command a classroom and will work in a team
- Want to build social awareness, confidence, and self-esteem in children, and help seniors build and maintain physical and cognitive abilities through partner dance
- Respond to emails/calls within 24-48 hours
- Have reliable transportation
Teaching Artist pay starts at $25-30 per class. Staff meetings and events are paid at $15 per hour.
