Concerto Dance presents Two Suites November 22-23 at the Bloomington Center for the Arts
Come experience the two sides of Concerto Dance! Classical composers Vivaldi and Tchaikovsky are reimagined in two new works by Artistic Director Jolene Konkel including Season’s Suite, a virtuosic modern dance work set to Vivaldi’s Four Seasons recomposed by Max Richter and Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker rearranged by Duke Ellington and Billy Strayhorn in a swingin’ new jazz dance suite, kicking off the holiday season!
Stay Friday night after the performance to celebrate Concerto’s five-year anniversary with our annual fundraiser Swingin’ it Forward, including swing dance lesson, dessert bar, drinks, and raffle prizes!
