Concerto Dance is hosting an open company class with our visiting guest artist in residence, Joe Chvala.

Open Class: Introduction to Hambone and Clogging
Wednesday, February 11
9:00-10:30am

Class Description: This class concentrates on teaching basic hambone and clogging technique. These two American dance/music forms have a long history that began in the Southern Appalachian range and have been passed down from generation to generation. By the end of the class, students will learn a hambone that then turns into a group clogging dance, emphasizing the social aspect of these traditions.

Cost: $15, and/or bring a non-perishable food item to donate to VEAP to serve our neighbors experiencing crisis.
