Collide Theatrical Dance Company is auditioning dancers to join the Apprenticeship Program for the winter and spring of their 12th season at the Luminary Arts Center—specifically, strong technical jazz dancers with excellent acting skills. All styles of dance are encouraged to apply.

Collide Theatrical’s Apprentice Program is an audition-based professional training program designed to provide the skills needed to pursue formal positions within the Collide Company and in the world of theater dance. This is an excellent post-graduate transitional program for recent college graduates looking to venture into a full-time performing career.

This is a tuition-based training program that culminates with a final cabaret performance. Participation is by audition only.

Apprentices:

• Take class and rehearse alongside the 1st and 2nd Company on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from January 2026-April 2026.
• Are invited to attend quarterly Master Classes with visiting Broadway Tour dance captains and local industry professionals.
• Have options to participate in Collide productions of The Joy List as understudy roles upon invitation, as well as performing in the Showcase and the Minnesota Special Olympics Opening Ceremony, boosting credits to your resume and dance reel.
• Receive periodic meetings with Collide Staff to individualize career goals and assist with growth and development from all angles.

2026 Schedule:
Rehearsals are during daytime hours, usually 9:30am-3:30pm.
Mainstage Show 2 (Little Women): Rehearses January 12-31, with performances February 2-15
Mainstage Show 3 (The Joy List premiere): Rehearses February 23-March 22, with performances March 24-April 12
Apprentice Showcase Dates: to be decided upon Apprentice Availability
Special Olympics Opening Ceremony: dates to be announced
