Ongoing Classes and Gatherings
Adult ballet in a fun, supportive, and community-focused setting—with free parking! Build technique, prevent injury, reduce pain, and enjoy the many physical and mental benefits of ballet while building community and friendships in a healthy and welcoming environment!
Whether you are brand new to ballet or have been dancing all your life, these classes offer classical-technique training in a supportive, no-stress atmosphere! You will receive individual corrections that will allow you to improve your alignment, artistry, strength, and technique. Depending on the level, you will also learn new dance steps appropriate for that level. All classes are taught by Kaethe Birkner, founder of Fitness with Kaethe, who specializes in alignment, body mechanics, and injury prevention and recovery. All technique classes are hybrid, so you can attend in person or online via Zoom.
Ballet 1 (Beginning/Intermediate): June 2-August 25, $278

Variations are the pinnacle of ballet, performed by elite dancers, and come in various styles. This class allows you to participate in learning and rehearsing these amazing, time-honored pieces. We will teach and rehearse one or two classical ballet variations. You will receive individualized attention to help you improve strength, stamina, and technique. Other benefits include learning steps not typically covered in class and enhancing performance skills like spacing and character. You must have been dancing for at least 1 year and must attend Ballet 1 beforehand, or obtain instructor permission if you attend another Monday night class.
Ballet 2 (Intermediate 1): June 5-August 28, $257
