Students in grades 6-12 have completed a 10-week program, studying modern-contemporary dance, ballet, West African, and hip hop dance with award-winning dance artists Alanna Morris (I A.M. Arts), Marie Thayer (BRKFST Dance Company) and Hassan Ingraham.
The Minnesota Dance Theater re-vamped its CAN Dance program with the support of Twin Cities creative entrepreneur, Alanna Morris, who offered consultation, community engagement and program management for a tuition-free youth dance program in 2024.
Come and support these hardworking students as they showcase their skills and passion! This informal and intimate studio showing invites parents, relatives and community members to witness the culmination of hard work and dedication.
