TU Dance Center: 2022-2023 Children and Teen Program

Running September 12, 2022–May 20, 2023.

The TU Dance Center Children and Teen Program introduces the joy of creative movement and beginning dance technique. Classes, divided by age, provide a comprehensive base on which to expand by developing body awareness, coordination, balance, flexibility, strength and musicality. Click here to download the 2022-2023 Children and Teen Daily Schedule. All classes in the Children and Teen Program are offered in person with a virtual option, unless otherwise noted.

To register, please complete the four-step registration process:

1. Please find the online pre-registration below under the specific level you are interested in and select a payment option
2. Make a tuition payment (in full or by selecting a payment plan)
3. If requesting a payment plan, please submit the 2022-2023 Payment Plan Form

Erinn and Karla Co-Teach the Friday Morning Jazz Fall Session

Come groove with both Erinn Liebhard and Karla Grotting as we kick off another session of Friday Morning Jazz dance class at Zenon Dance School! Class runs 10:00-11:15am CST and remains hybrid, with space for 10 masked and distanced students in-studio and a high-quality Zoom option for folks joining from home/remotely. Erinn and Karla love to explore and appreciate the groove, musicality, groundedness and personal and social expression found in jazz music and dance, and hope you’ll drop by to kick off this session doing just that!

Young Dance Fall Classes

Since 1987, Young Dance has encouraged youth in our community to build body and spirit through the art of dance. Our mission is to transform lives through movement. We are an inclusive community where creativity flourishes, encouraging personal and artistic excellence through diverse forms of dance.

Young Dance is committed to offering a fun and developmentally appropriate curriculum. Our Teaching Artists are some of the best in the cities, bringing their experience and expertise to a myriad of styles and techniques. The 2022-23 Session includes Afro-Modern, All Abilities Dancing, Ballet, Breaking, Creative Movement, Choreography, Dance Together, Hip Hop, Jazz, Modern, and the Young Dance Performing Company.

Classes begin Thursday, September 15, and continue through Sunday, May 21, 2023. The final weekend of the session culminates in performances at the Luminary Arts Center.

Registration is now open for fall classes. New offerings include creative movement for ages 3-5, musical theater, fitness classes and hip hop.

Adult “Tappy Hour” classes are available for beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. Special discounts for those 65+.

5 levels of adult tap classes. Age gracefully through dance – bones, brains, and balance.

Youth classes are available for ages 6 and up.

Join our Youth Tap Ensemble. Choreography, improvisation, and technique.

Bharatanatyam Classes at the Ragamala Training Center

The Ragamala Training Center offers Bharatanatyam classes for beginners (children and adults) as well as experienced dancers.

Led by highly-skilled company members, classes in Bharatanatyam dance are enriching, fun, and foster cultural awareness.

Ragamala Training Center offers introductory through advanced level classes for ages 7 through adult.
