Doma Dance Theater seeks 3 dancers for a new research project.
Audition: Video submissions only. All submissions must be received by 11:59pm on Thursday, July 16.
Callback: In person at 5:00pm on August 6 at the Doma Studio
About the Project: This project builds off of Doma’s summer residency in Slovakia and initial development phase from FermentationLAB in February/March 2026. The purpose of this new research project is to complete the second phase of rehearsals in preparation for Doma’s new evening-length work, Moonlit Mountain, that is anticipated to premiere in 2027.
The choreographer Alexandra Bodnarchuk, will be leading the process with support from Brandon Musser (Producing AD) and Marcela Michelle (Resident Dramaturg).
The goal of this second phase of rehearsal is to bring new dancers into the work to further develop the concept and generate new material. It will culminate with a work-in-progress showing in the TekBox.
It’s our intention that dancers hired for this phase of the project will remain through its world premiere and potential touring.
