Workshops, Intensives, and Master Classes
Duluth Dance Union Workshop #2: Rodeo Scrum
Friday, July 31—Sunday, August 2
Four sessions and a performance opportunity
Register here!
This weekend dance improvisation event is for movers of all types, expert to beginner. Participants will practice contact improvisation, solo dancing, and compositional scores to deepen into our bodies and the land. Building on last year’s magic, we will again be improvising in a beautiful studio on Lake Superior, eating, swimming, and enjoying a weekend in Duluth. The goal is to become grounded and dance together in an authentic, affirming, curious, healthy way. There will be beach time, good food, and a chance to perform Saturday night. We invite you to be a fearless dance researcher with us!
Rodeos are round exhibitions of skill and a Scrum is a disorderly crowd.
Rodeo Scrum is where skill and play roll around discovering new moves.
