The Minnesota Conservatory for the Arts seeks an Assistant Director of Dance for the 2026–2027 academic year. Located in vibrant Winona, Minnesota, MCA has nurtured artistic expression for over 50 years. We are looking for a collaborative educator to teach, choreograph, and help lead our community-centered program.
The Role: This instructional position (starting at 25–30 hrs/week) involves teaching ballet, contemporary, and various styles to school-aged students. You’ll work with the Director of Dance on curriculum, two annual productions, and program growth.
Qualifications:
- Strong foundation in ballet/contemporary pedagogy
- BFA in Dance (preferred) and teaching experience
- Physical stamina for movement demonstration
- Collaborative spirit and excellent communication
Benefits
