Continental Ballet Company (CBC) will be performing the classical ballet, Giselle, at the Schneider Theater in the Bloomington Center for the Arts on Saturdays and Sunday, March 21 and 22.

Giselle is a Romantic ballet about a gentle village girl who dies of a broken heart after discovering her lover is a nobleman in disguise and already promised to another. In the second act, her spirit joins the Wilis—ghostly women who haunt the forest at night—but Giselle’s love and forgiveness ultimately saves her lover from their deadly revenge.
