Workshops, Intensives, and Master Classes
In this addictively energizing class led by Kealoha Ferreira, participants will experience the foundational elements of Yorchhā, Ananya Dance Theatre’s (ADT’s) transnational feminist technique, through an innovative, experimental framework we are calling the Juggaad method. Together, we will move across the space in rhythmic sequences that incrementally build in complexity and energy, while amplifying joyful connection and collective power.
This class is designed for aspiring or working BIPOC artists (16+), and while there is a suggested tuition, no one will be turned away for lack of funds.
This class is offered as part of Theater Mu’s a la carte movement sampler series, so make sure to check out Cultivating Presence for Actors with kt shorb and Our Stories in Motion with Julia Gay, as well!
