We seek a dynamic artist-scholar to direct the dance program and teach a range of studio and studies courses within a liberal arts context. Ideal candidates will have excellent leadership skills, an inclusive pedagogical approach, and a strong emerging creative/scholarly profile.

The teaching load is five courses per year, which includes serving as Director of the Dance Program and co-Artistic Director of the student repertory dance company. Candidates must be able to teach dance history/theory, choreography, and technique (contemporary, modern, or other specialty).

Required materials include a letter of application, CV, two work samples, a teaching statement on diversity, names of three references, and two sample syllabi.

Applications are due by November 1, 2025, for full consideration. Interviews will take place in December 2025 and January/February 2026.
