Summer Youth Ballet with Midwest School of Ballet

Join Midwest School of Ballet and the Edina Community Education program this summer in trying out our Youth classes for ages 3-14.

Tuesdays, July 15-August 12:  Classes have begun, but please contact midwestballetmn@gmail.com if you would like to join in late.

Summer Ballet Fundamentals I: 5:00-5:50pm, Ages 3-5.5
Learn Basic, fundamental ballet movement and terminology through creative exercise. Children will also develop age-appropriate motor skills and musicality. New and returning students welcome. Instructors use methods designed to encourage exploration and foster creativity.
Cost: $90

Summer Ballet Fundamentals II: 6:00-7:00pm, Ages 5.5-7
Learning basic, fundamental ballet movement and terminology through creative exercises, students will also develop age-appropriate motor skills and musicality (building on elements learned in Fundamentals I), while infusing elements that will prepare them for the traditional ballet class format. Fundamentals I is not a required prerequisite: new and returning students are welcome.
Cost: $90

Pre-Teen/Level I Ballet: 7:00-8:15pm, Ages 8-14. 
Midwest School of Ballet’s experienced instructors provide a traditional ballet format of barre and center work while emphasizing proper alignment, technique, musicality, and artistry. This beginner class is open to students who have a little or no experience, returning students, or have completed a season in Fundamentals II/III, and meet the ages.
Cost: $108

All classes are located at the Edina Community Education Center. Conveniently located off Highway 100 at the Edina Community Center with free and easy parking.

Fall Registration is right around the corner!  Registration will open Tuesday, August 12.
