Infinite Slow Drive/Obsidians in the Wild is a performance that traces vehicle augmentation and sonic cultures, embodies and multi-sites black movement legacies through park gatherings, parade, and processional slow stroll cultures of Florida and other US regions.
This work is choreographed by Lela Aisha Jones also known as Selder, who is currently in burgeoning collaboration with Brownbody’s Executive Artistic Director, Deneane Richburg, and artists: Roobi Gaskins, Lee Edwards, Atim Opoka, Dameun Strange, Tia-Simone Gardner, Leanna Brown, Aidan Un, Kassoum Diakite Diop, and Taylor West.
