The Duluth Dance Union presents: Contact + Improvisation

Contact Improvisation (CI) is a dance form that uses physical touch and the laws of physics to generate movement and communication. This class is for people who want to move with others in physical contact. No experience or ability is required. We will train our bodies and our attention to dance together safely with curiosity and abandon. Like the dancers who started CI 55 years ago, we will start by asking questions and finding joy moving together.

When: Saturday mornings, 10 am – Noon
Dates: February 28, March 7, 14, 21
Where: North Shore Ballroom, 1515 Kenwood Ave Duluth, MN
Cost: $10 suggested

Instructors: Jane Shockley & Galen Treuer
